Spray Nozzles

The TEC 6300 and TEC 7300 guns can be fitted with different spray nozzles that change both the amount of adhesive applied, and the width of the spray pattern.

The standard tool is fitted with a medium-width spray nozzle (2mm orifice).

Optional nozzles are available that will provide either narrower or wider spray patterns. The amount of adhesive applied can also be adjusted by selecting a nozzle valve with a different size orifice.

For ease of identification, the nozzle parts are colour coded - red for narrow, yellow for medium, and blue for wide spray patterns. The orifice size for the different valve assemblies can be determined by the number of machined rings on the valve body.

These nozzles make a big difference to both the pattern and output of the spray glue gun. Narrower nozzles improve targeting and accuracy, whereas wide nozzles cover large areas faster.

Smaller orifices reduce thermal shock to heat sensitive substrates, whereas larger orifices increase open time and bond strength.
