Tecbond 440 is a polyolefin-based hot melt adhesive designed for use with Tec spray applicators.

The formulation is a very high-performance adhesive designed for use on cardboard, wood, foam and many plastics, even those that have proved difficult to bond. Formulated with a to have an open time of around four minutes when sprayed, Tecbond 440 is ideal for many tough packaging and product assembly applications.

Its high tack leads to a near instant hold and restricts creeping in the compressed bonds.

The adhesive has also been tested against fire, smoke and toxicity, with the results indicating the adhesive is suitable for use with hazard level 2 applications in relation to EN 45545-2 (Rail).
