The Tec 6300 is a hot melt applicator designed to dispense 43mm adhesive slugs in a swirl/spiral pattern. A user-friendly and safer alternative to conventional solvent-based spray adhesives, the Tec 6300 uses a combination of electrical and pneumatic power to form the spray pattern, allowing operators to cover a larger area much faster than with traditional bead applicators.

The world-leading, high-output, hot melt spray tool, the Tec 6300 utilises compressed air to both power the feed mechanism, and generate a spiral pattern with the extruded glue. Once the compressed has pushed through the feed mechanism, it’s released through specially designed nozzles to create a vortex around the bead of adhesive, forming a spiral.

Due to the unique nature of the system, it enables the user to create different patterns and coat weights to suit their specific needs. Designed to work with 43mm adhesive slugs, the Tec 6300 has an output 4.2kg per hour, matching the output of the 6100, but covering a wider surface area in the process.

Unlike regular spray adhesives, this Tec 6300 doesn’t require any solvents or VOCs to create these patterns, removing the need for users to wear respiratory PPE. The extruded pattern is also much cooler when applied, meaning it can be used on heat-sensitive substrates without burning or causing damage.

The trigger system matches what is used on the other 6000 and 7000 series tools, requiring a single continuous pull to dispense as much adhesive as required.
