Tec 308
Professional Applicator

Construction-grade quality adhesives
Tecbond hot melt adhesives offer a faster, non-destructive, and more cost-effective way to bond a wide range of materials. For optimal efficiency, Tecbond adhesives have been designed to work in tandem with the Tec range of corded and cordless glue guns.

Tecbond 5 is a specialist woodworking and carpentry adhesive developed for use on both soft and hard woods.
As well as replacing the need for tacks and screws in many small woodworking applications, Tecbond 5 can also be used in conjunction with screws and tacks as a replacement for wood glue.

Tecbond 238 is a cable tacking and PVC specialist adhesive designed as a replacement for tacks and clips in securing cables, trunking, boxes, PIRs, smoke detectors and CCTV cameras to brick, plasterboard, wood, painted surfaces and steel beams.
Its high viscosity decreases dripping/sagging on vertical surfaces, while its high tack ensures an almost instant hold with no need for holding parts in place.
Bonds fully set within 24 hours, with enough flexibility to allow for small movements between the materials.

Tecbond 248 is a high-performance construction and repair adhesive that takes hot melt glue sticks to a new level in performance bonding.
Based on up-to-the-minute raw material technology, tecbond 248 is a high-performance construction-quality adhesive that sticks almost anything. It provides an instant grab and sets to a strong bond when parts are compressed.
Tecbond 248 has a unique acrylic chemistry for hard-wearing, durable bonds. With a working time of 40–50 seconds, the adhesive allows for a longer period between application and bringing the materials together without the worry of it setting too soon.

Tecbond 280 is a high-performance construction adhesive with a longer working time than most hot melt adhesives.
Designed for applications where materials aren’t immediately compressed, it features an extended working time and allows the bonded parts to be adjusted (even after compression) for up to 3 minutes.
The adhesive sets to give a tough, flexible bond with superior strength. This flexible bond is ideal in flooring applications where the finished materials experience thermal expansion.
Knottec is a fast and effective wood filling system that has been specially formulated for the repair of wood defects, including knots, scratches, splits, and other forms of deep wood damage.
Thanks to its tough characteristics, knottec is the perfect solution for repairing wooden doors, window frames, furniture, floors and much more.
Available in 17 different colours to match any kind of wood and finish, the adhesive is fast-setting and can be easily trimmed and sanded before the wood is treated in the normal way.
You don’t need a Ryobi® battery to operate the Tec 308 and 808.
Our battery adapters let you use other popular 18V battery systems, including DeWalt®, Makita®, and Milwaukee®, amongst others, with our cordless tools. Quick and easy to attach, our adapters allow you to continue using your preferred battery platform.
