Tecbond LM46

Tecbond LM46 is an economical packaging adhesive, formulated to run at temperatures as low as 130°C. Featuring a faster setting speed than other Tecbond low melt adhesives, Tecbond LM46 provides good adhesion to many of the most common packaging substrates, including paper, card, foam, and some plastics.

Tecbond LM46s properties can be adjusted by varying the application temperature. When applied at 160°C, the adhesive has a lower viscosity and longer open time. When applied closer to 130°C, the viscosity increases to provide better gap filling with a reduced open time.

Tecbond 260

Tecbond 260 is a pale amber product assembly adhesive formulated to provide superior adhesion to ceramics, wood, metal, glass, and many plastics. Bonds formed using Tecbond 260 are not only tough, but also flexible, able to withstand movements even when fully set.

Featuring a longer open time than many other Tecbond product assembly adhesives, Tecbond 260 is the ideal adhesive for applications where the final bond will experience slight movements on a consistent basis.

Tecbond 261

Tecbond 261 is a versatile and strong product assembly adhesive with the ability to bond a variety of substrates, including wood, metal, glass, ceramics, and many plastics, including polypropylene. The adhesive’s high bond strength and flexibility also make it ideal for many general-purpose applications.

Along with its high bond strength, Tecbond 261 features a long open time, allowing for the accurate positioning of substrates before compression, at which point the adhesive sets quickly with enough bond flexibility to withstand small substrate movements.

Tecbond 280

Tecbond 280 is a high-performance construction adhesive designed for use in construction and product assembly applications. Based on up-to-the-minute raw material technology, Tecbond 280 provides excellent adhesion to wood, metal, glass, ceramics, concrete, and most plastics.

Formulated to have an extended open time, the adhesive allows the bonded parts to be adjusted (even after compression) for up to three minutes. Along with its ample open and working time, Tecbond 280 provides a solid yet flexible bond down to temperatures as low as -20°C. This flexibility allows for movement of the materials (for example, thermal expansion of flooring) without compromising the strength of the bond.

Tecbond 5

Tecbond 5 is a specialist woodworking and carpentry adhesive developed for use on both soft and hardwoods. As well as replacing the need for tacks and screws in many circumstances, Tecbond 5’s properties make it the ideal holding adhesive for temporary bonding applications.

A polymer-based hot melt adhesive, Tecbond 5 is designed for bonding interior trim, drawer bottoms, templates, cabinet backs, and glue blocks. Although designed to be used predominantly on wood, its high tack and excellent adhesion mean Tecbond 5 can also bond many plastics, ceramics, and light gauge metals.

Tecbond 14

Tecbond 14 is a very fast-setting packaging adhesive designed for use on most paper and board substrates. It is ideal for carton closing and tray forming, and suitable for specialty packaging, point of sale, and wrap-around cartons.

The adhesive is formulated to maximise delivery rate, and sets very fast when compressed. These two features mean packages can be secured in a fraction of the time when compared to taping or stapling. There’s also no need to hold the materials in place as the bond is almost instantaneous.

Tecbond 23

Tecbond 23 is an EVA-based multi-purpose product assembly adhesive designed for use on fabrics, ceramics, wood, and many plastics such as PVC, polycarbonate, and acrylics (not PP or PE). This makes it a good all-around adhesive for product assembly and construction applications.

The adhesives extended open and working time provide security in the production process, allowing adjustments to be made shortly after initial compression before the final bond is made.

Tecbond 210

Tecbond 210 is a clear, fast setting hot melt adhesive designed to create temporary bonds that are easily removable. Formulated for use on paper, card, and coated surfaces, Tecbond 210 is predominantly used for attaching credit cards, labels, and promotional material to mailing letters, magazine pages or backing cards.

Tecbond 210 has excellent high and low temperature resistance, with bonds being able to withstand temperatures as high as 120°C and as low as -70°C without creeping.

Tecbond 213

Tecbond 213 is a general-purpose hot melt adhesive designed to bond substrates commonly used in product assembly applications and the flooring industry.

Excellent bonds can be achieved on ceramics, rigid PVC, wood, fabric, and many plastics. Outside of product assembly, Tecbond 213 is also used in the flooring and woodworking industries thanks to its strong bonding capabilities.

Featuring a high tack and ample open time, Tecbond 213 is one of the most efficient and cost-effective general-purpose hot melt adhesives on the market today.

Tecbond 214

Tecbond 214 is an economical packaging adhesive designed for use on most paper and board substrates. Tecbond 214 is one of the best-selling packaging adhesives due to its strong bonding capabilities, high molten tack, and fast setting speeds.

Formulated using 40% bio-based materials, Tecbond 214’s short open time speeds up carton closing procedures, with no need for extended holding or clamping periods after compression. Coupled with the adhesives cost per closure, Tecbond 214 is the ideal replacement for staples or tape for cardboard bonding applications.

Tecbond 232

Tecbond 232 is a clear general-purpose hot melt adhesive designed to provide excellent adhesion to fabrics. Predominantly used for product assembly and recreational applications, Tecbond 232 will also achieve strong bonds on untreated wood, paper, and many board substrates.

Tecbond 232 has exceptional gap-filling properties thanks to its high viscosity, and the finished bonds are resistant to temperatures as low as -30°C.

Tecbond 238

Tecbond 238 is a clear construction adhesive for attaching PVC and ABS plastics to a variety of materials, including wood, brick, plasterboard, steel beams, and painted surfaces.

Designed for use by electricians and tradespeople, Tecbond 238 is suitable for mounting trunking, junction boxes, PIRS, smoke detectors, CCTV cameras, and cabling to walls and beams. It provides a faster and less destructive alternative to nails and screws.
