Tecbond LM41-PR

Tecbond LM41-PR is a clear, all-purpose bulk adhesive formulated for use in low melt bulk systems. Featuring impressive output with clean running capabilities, its class-leading bond strength provides excellent adhesion to a range of substrates, including paper, card, wood, ceramic, fabric, foam, and some plastics including coated boards.

Used across a number of industries including packaging, product assembly, construction and DIY, the adhesive has very low viscosity, even at 130°C (266°F) allowing it to better penetrate porous substrates.

Tecbond 271-PL

Tecbond 271-PL is a bulk format, product assembly adhesive, specifically formulated to bond polypropylene and polyethylene. It will also effectively bond most other plastics, non-woven materials and fabrics.

The adhesive exhibits very good low temperature resistance, making it the ideal bonding solution for products that may be exposed to sub-zero temperatures. Tecbond 271-PL has a longer open time than most other polypropylene bonding formulations, aiding in longer production runs where substrates may not be immediately brought together.

Due to the difficulties involved in bonding polypropylene and polyethylene, it’s recommended that the adhesive is applied at 195°C (383°F) or higher.

Casttec 47

Casttec 47 is a pale amber, extended open time precast adhesive designed for environments where the ambient working temperature is high. This means it can be applied, allowed to set and then be cleanly removed at temperatures close to 40°C.

Able to bond wood, plastic, metal, and foam, Casttec 47 can be applied over a light oil, removing the need to clean surfaces before application.

Casttec 47 replaces the need for welding or bolting inserts to precast forms, providing a less destructive, cost-saving alternative for precast concrete manufacturers.

The adhesive will begin to crystalise after around 8–10 hours and after 24 hours, the adhesive is brittle enough to allow the easy removal of the bonded inserts even at temperatures as high as 40°C. The remaining glue can then be scraped off and disposed of.

Casttec 42

Casttec 42 is a light-brown, general-purpose precast adhesive designed to offer a strong, secure bonds between wood, plastic, metal, and foam. It can be applied over a light oil, removing the need to clean surfaces before application.

Casttec 42 replaces the need for welding or bolting inserts to precast forms, providing a less destructive, cost-saving alternative for precast concrete manufacturers.

The adhesive will begin to crystalise after around 8–10 hours and after 24 hours, the adhesive is brittle enough to allow the easy removal of the bonded inserts. The remaining glue can then be scraped off and disposed of.
