Power Adhesives relaunches industry-leading sprayable hot melt range
Power Adhesives has relaunched its popular sprayable adhesive range, providing manufacturers with a safer, cleaner alternative to traditional aerosol-based bonding systems.
The comprehensive sprayable hot melt system, trusted across sectors from automotive and HVAC to packaging and furniture assembly, combines efficient application with the performance and reliability converters expect from Tecbond adhesives.
This relaunch introduces Tecbond 440, a high-performance sprayable adhesive developed for tough product assembly and demanding packaging applications. Tecbond 440 offers excellent instant tack and strong bonds across a range of substrates, including foams, boards, and selected plastics. This makes it an ideal choice for manufacturers looking to improve process speed without compromising adhesion.
Ian Lancey, Sales and Marketing Director at Power Adhesives, said: “We’re excited to relaunch our sprayable adhesive range and introduce Tecbond 440 as the newest addition. This is another step forward in our mission to help manufacturers work more efficiently, more safely, and more sustainably focused.
“We’ve always believed in listening to our customers and developing solutions that make a real difference on the production line, and this relaunch is a perfect example of that. With more product innovations planned for later this year, it’s an exciting time for Power Adhesives and the industries we support.”
Unlike conventional spray adhesives, Power Adhesives’ solvent-free system uses compressed air to deliver 100% solid hot melt adhesive, eliminating hazardous propellants and reducing VOC emissions. This makes it safer for operators and more environmentally responsible, while delivering clean, consistent spray patterns that suit both large-area coverage and precision bonding.
The spray range now includes five formulations, Tecbond 410, 420, 425, 430, and 440, each engineered to meet specific application needs, from pallet stabilisation to high-strength product assembly. The adhesives are dispensed via the company’s advanced Tec 6300 and Tec 7300 applicators, which offer fully adjustable swirl spray patterns, high melt rates, and reliable output even at lower application temperatures.
Power Adhesives continues to focus on delivering solutions that combine performance with practical improvements in efficiency and safety. The expanded spray range gives manufacturers more flexibility to move away from solvent-based sprays and adopt clean-running hot melt technology proven to enhance productivity across a wide range of industries.
