Tecbond 242

Tecbond 242 is a crystal clear, high-performance product assembly adhesive formulated to provide excellent adhesion to wood, paper, card, light gauge metals, many plastics such as PVC, acrylics, and painted surfaces.

Tecbond 242’s ample open time coupled with its high viscosity will allow plenty of time for substrates to be fixed without the worry of sagging on vertical surfaces.

Tecbond 246

Tecbond 246 is an EVA-based, high viscosity hot melt adhesive formulated for use in PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) applications. Tecbond 246 will work on most smooth surfaces including painted and some varnished surfaces.

The adhesives high bond strength after compression ensures it doesn’t fail during the dent pulling process. Despite its high bond strength, the adhesive is easily removable with isopropyl alcohol or other similar PDR release agents.

Tecbond 248

Tecbond 248 is an acrylic-based, clear hot melt adhesive designed to provide exceptional adhesion to a wide range of substrates, including many plastics that otherwise have proved difficult to bond.

Excellent bonds can be achieved on wood, fabric, leather, concrete, rubber, glass, ceramics, and most metals. 248 has also been widely used on many plastics, such as PVC, polycarbonate, and acrylic thanks to its strong chemical bonding capabilities.

The grade is the go-to for many hardwood flooring and carpet installers due to its instant grab and good open time. Once applied, 248 will maintain its high tack for around a minute, allowing flooring or tack strips to be accurately positioned before compression.

Tecbond 260

Tecbond 260 is a pale amber product assembly adhesive formulated to provide superior adhesion to ceramics, wood, metal, glass, and many plastics. Bonds formed using Tecbond 260 are not only tough, but also flexible, able to withstand movements even when fully set.

Featuring a longer open time than many other Tecbond product assembly adhesives, Tecbond 260 is the ideal adhesive for applications where the final bond will experience possible movement in tougher conditions.

Tecbond 261

Tecbond 261 is a versatile and strong product assembly adhesive with the ability to bond a variety of substrates, including wood, metal, glass, ceramics, and many plastics, including polypropylene. The adhesive’s high bond strength and flexibility also make it ideal for many general-purpose applications.

Along with its high bond strength, Tecbond 261 features a long open time, allowing for the accurate positioning of substrates before compression, at which point the adhesive sets quickly with enough bond flexibility to withstand small substrate movements.

Tecbond 280

Tecbond 280 is a high-performance construction adhesive designed for use in construction and product assembly applications. Based on up-to-the-minute raw material technology, Tecbond 280 provides excellent adhesion to wood, metal, glass, ceramics, concrete, and most plastics.

Formulated to have an extended open time, the adhesive allows the bonded parts to be adjusted (even after compression) for up to three minutes. Along with its ample open and working time, Tecbond 280 provides a solid yet flexible bond down to temperatures as low as -20°C. This flexibility allows for movement of the materials (for example, thermal expansion of flooring) without compromising the strength of the bond.

Tecbond 5

Tecbond 5 is a specialist woodworking and carpentry adhesive developed for use on both soft and hardwoods. As well as replacing the need for tacks and screws in many circumstances, Tecbond 5’s properties make it the ideal holding adhesive for temporary bonding applications.

A polymer-based hot melt adhesive, Tecbond 5 is designed for bonding interior trim, drawer bottoms, templates, cabinet backs, and glue blocks. Although designed to be used predominantly on wood, its high tack and excellent adhesion mean Tecbond 5 can also bond many plastics, ceramics, and light gauge metals.
