Running on the DeWalt Flex volt battery system * the Tec 3508 is the first fully-cordless 43mm hot melt applicator on the market, delivering approximately three hours of runtime on a 9Ah battery (but also compatible with 6Ah and 12Ah batteries). It’s the perfect tool for industries that are looking to minimise health & safety risks associated with trailing cables, or those who need to work in areas not accessible from a power outlet.

Guaranteeing precise temperature control, the Tec 3508 comes with a selection of plug-in modules from 130°C to 215°C that automatically change the internal heater temperature. Not only does this ensure optimal conditions for the bonding application, but depending on the adhesive used, these modules can change the bonding properties of the grade to suit the job at hand.

This fast warm-up, coupled with its impressive output of 3.2kg (7lbs) per hour, ensures there’s no waiting around for adhesive to melt.

To further increase battery life, the Tec 3508 will automatically shut-off during periods of inactivity. This system will also decrease the risk of adhesive melt back, keeping the tool functioning even in the most demanding of applications.
