Tecbond Ski Repair Rods

Tecbond ski repair rods are polymer-based filling and repair sticks used for the more permanent repair of scratches, cuts, and voids in the base of polyethylene skis and snowboards.

Used with the Tec range of ski repair applicators, repair rods are melted and compressed into the damaged material, leading to a more robust finish and longer-lasting repair. Use with the RP360 for the strongest possible finish.

Tecbond 7785

Tecbond 7785 is a polyamide adhesive designed for product assembly and some specialist packaging applications. The adhesive works best on wood and fabric but has also proven excellent for bonding most metals and many composite plastics. 7785 can also be used as an encapsulation compound for protecting fragile electronics.

Capable of being subjected to temperatures as high as 135°C and as low as -10°C, Tecbond 7785 is one of the most versatile adhesives in the Tecbond range. This heat resilience, coupled with its class-leading chemical resistance and encapsulation properties, is what makes 7785 ideal for the assembly of parts in the automotive industry.

Tecbond 267W

Tecbond 267W is a white hot melt adhesive designed to bond polyolefin plastics. Formulated to with a greater high and low temperature resistance than other comparable grades, Tecbond 267W can also be used to bond materials such as polycarbonate, nylon, rigid PVC, and light gauge metals.

Mainly used in the production of crash helmets, sun visors, automotive trim, and white goods (fridges, washing machines, etc.), Tecbond 267W is the perfect adhesive for many product-assembly applications with its high bond strength and effectiveness on a range of substrates outside of just polyolefin plastics.

Tecbond 7718

Tecbond 7718 is a polyamide hot melt adhesive designed for potting and encapsulation applications. Available in amber and black, Tecbond 7718 has very low viscosity to improve flow rate with a setting time of around two minutes to speed up production processes.

Tecbond 7718 has been used for many years in the consumer electronics industry to protect electronic components and ensure there is no movement which could cause lasting damage.

Tecbond 7786

Tecbond 7786 is a polyamide hot melt adhesive specifically designed with class-leading high and low-temperature resistance. Predominantly used for product assembly applications in the electronics industry, Tecbond 7786 provides excellent bonds on light gauge metals, PCBs, and many plastics such as PVC and ABS.

Coupled with its high and low-temperature resistance, Tecbond 7786 has a very high molten tack that provides an almost instant grab upon substrate compression.

We recommend that Tecbond 7786 be kept in its original packaging out of direct sunlight to ensure maximum shelf life.

Tecbond LM41

Tecbond LM41 is a clear, all-purpose adhesive formulated for use in low melt glue guns. Featuring impressive output with minimal stringing, its class-leading bond strength provides excellent adhesion to a range of substrates, including paper, card, wood, ceramic, fabric, foam, and some plastics.

Mainly used in the hobby, craft, and educational industries, the adhesive can be easily pigmented, making it one of the very few low melt adhesives on the market that can be made into almost any colour.

Tecbond LM42

Tecbond LM42 is an economical general-purpose adhesive formulated for use in low melt glue guns.  Predominantly used in the hobby, craft, and educational markets, the adhesive provides good adhesion to a wide range of substrates, including paper, card, wood, foam, light gauge metals, fabrics, and floristry foams.

Tecbond LM42 can be pigmented a wide range of colours to suit the application. Some of the most popular colours include black, white, green, blue and grey.

Tecbond LM46

Tecbond LM46 is an economical general-purpose adhesive formulated for use in low-melt glue guns. Featuring a faster setting speed than other Tecbond low melt adhesives, Tecbond LM46 provides good adhesion to a range of substrates, including paper, card, wood, ceramic, fabric, foam, and some plastics.

Predominantly used in the hobby, craft, and educational markets, Tecbond LM46s properties are different depending on the application temperature. When used with hot melt guns, the adhesive has a lower viscosity and a longer open time. When used with low-melt tools, the viscosity increases to provide better gap-filling with a reduced open time.

Tecbond 342

Tecbond 342 is a white packaging and construction adhesive formulated to bond triwall and other stiff boards that have proven difficult to bond. Tecbond 342 has extremely high tack, suitable for boards with high spring back/memory. Coupled with the very short open time, strong bonds can be achieved after only a couple of seconds.

Along with its packaging applications, Tecbond 342’s instant grab and white colour make it ideal for cable attachment in the telephone, computer and alarm industry.
