Tecbond 345-PR

Tecbond 345-PR is a metallocene-based bulk packaging adhesive, providing versatile adhesion to difficult substrates.

Designed to be used mainly on paper and board, its instant grab capabilities mean it can bond coated surfaces, such as UV varnish, that other adhesives would otherwise struggle with.

Along with its class-leading bond strength and versatility, Tecbond 345-PR has been designed to withstand temperatures as low as -40 °C, making it the ideal adhesive for products stored in deep freeze.

Tecbond 280-PL

Tecbond 280 is a high-performance bulk format construction adhesive designed for use in construction applications. The formulation provides excellent adhesion to wood, metal, glass, ceramics, concrete, and most plastics, making it a good all-around bulk adhesive.

Formulated to have an extended open time, the adhesive allows the bonded parts to be adjusted (even after compression) for up to three minutes. Along with its ample open and working time, Tecbond 280 provides a solid yet flexible bond down to temperatures as low as -20°C. This flexibility allows for movement of the materials (for example, thermal expansion of flooring) without compromising the strength of the bond.

Tecbond 248-PL

Tecbond 248-PL is a clear bulk hot melt adhesive designed to provide exceptional adhesion to a wide range of substrates, including many plastics that otherwise have proved difficult to bond.

Excellent bonds can be achieved on wood, fabric, leather, concrete, rubber, glass, ceramics, and most metals. Tecbond 248-PL has also been widely used on many plastics, such as PVC, polycarbonate, and acrylic thanks to its strong chemical bonding capabilities.

Once applied, Tecbond 248-PL will maintain its high tack for around a minute, allowing precise joins to be made without the adhesive setting prior to compression.

Tecbond 240-PR

Tecbond 240-PR is a versatile and cost-effective all-purpose bulk adhesive designed to provide tough, long-lasting bonds on a wide variety of materials, including wood, paper, card, light-gauge metals, and many plastics.

Available in bulk prills, Tecbond 240-PR works with almost any bulk application machinery.

Tecbond 214B-PR

Tecbond 214B-PR is a biodegradable packaging adhesive, formulated with 45% bio-based, sustainably sourced raw materials. Tecbond 214B-PR is one of the best-selling packaging adhesives due to its strong bonding capabilities, high molten tack, and fast setting speeds.

The degradation process will occur in the presence of oxygen. When the adhesive is exposed to Ultraviolet light the speed of the degradation process is greatly increased. The adhesive should be kept away from direct sunlight when not in use.

Tecbond 214B-PR’s short open time speeds up carton closing procedures, with no need for extended holding or clamping periods after compression. Coupled with the adhesives cost per closure, Tecbond 214B-PR is the ideal replacement for staples or tape for cardboard bonding applications.

Tecbond 5-PR

Tecbond 5-PR is a 45% bio-based, bulk hot melt adhesive designed to provide versatile bonds across various packaging applications.

Predominantly used on paper, board and wood surfaces, Tecbond 5-PR is fast setting with a short open time for quicker production runs. Its low viscosity promotes clean running and minimizes the gap between compressed surfaces for tighter joints.

Tecbond 110B-PR

Tecbond 110B-PR is a light-brown biodegradable bulk hot melt adhesive with a very fast setting speed designed for high-speed packaging applications. Available in prill format, the adhesive facilitates increased production and faster assembly of cartons.

Tecbond 110-PR works with most bulk hot melt tanks, and can be applied via spray or jet. Its low viscosity decreases nozzle stringing while promoting clean running.

Casttec 44

Casttec 44 is an off-white, long open time precast adhesive designed to withstand repeated pour cycles without needing to be replaced. Casttec 44 has been specifically formulated to bond the most difficult materials including polypropylene, polyethylene, and light foam-work. Additionally, this grade has the ability to be applied via spray or bead.

Replacing the need for welding or bolting inserts to precast forms, Casttec 44 provides a less destructive, cost-saving alternative for precast concrete manufacturers.

Casttec 44 will begin to crystalise after around 8–10 hours, allowing for easy removal beyond the 24–48-hour period. Along with Casttec 43, Casttec 44 has the longest open time of any Casttec adhesive, allowing it to be used for much larger forms and complex inserts, without the worry of the glue setting before the substrates are brought together.

Tecbond 99-PL

Tecbond 99-PL is a pressure sensitive packaging adhesive designed to have a indefinite open time with extremely high surface tack.

Primarily used with XY plotters and other automated precision application systems, Tecbond 99-PL exhibits good toughness to minimise adhesive creep. Its ability to bond a wide range of materials including difficult substrates such as polypropylene and UV coated boards make it the perfect all-around adhesive.

Tecbond 902-PL

Tecbond 902-PL is a pressure sensitive hot melt adhesive with very high levels of tack for more demanding pressure sensitive applications. The adhesives low viscosity makes it the ideal adhesive for spraying.

Tecbond 902-PL is a component in products such as crash helmets, protective clothing and cases, as well as packaging applications such as jiffy bag sealers. The adhesive has good heat resistance for a bulk adhesive, allowing for use in warmer conditions without the risk of adhesive creep.

Tecbond 110-PR

Tecbond 110-PR is a light-brown bulk hot melt adhesive designed for high-speed packaging applications. Available in prill format, the adhesive has a short open time to facilitate increased production and faster assembly of cartons.

Tecbond 110-PR works with most bulk hot melt tanks, and can be applied via spray or jet. The adhesives high tack ensures a near-instant hold once substrates are compressed.

Tecbond 523

Tecbond 523 is a pale amber, economical, v-groove adhesive for plasterboard and drywall fabrication. The adhesive provides a good balance of adhesion, working time and output to ensure a solid bond, while decreasing working times when compared to tapes, tacks, and screws.

The adhesives viscosity allows it to effectively flow in the porous surface of the plasterboard, while its molten tack removes the need for extended holding or clamping periods. The finished bond is so strong, the plasterboard will break before the bond does.
